It all started when…
Miles Love is a pianist and teacher based in the central Texas area. A native of Wimberley, Texas, he’s been an active member of the local music scene for several years and frequently performs in Austin, San Marcos, and Wimberley. He first began taking piano lessons at age 5 under Suzuki teachers Kristen Sowell and Vickie Pautz, and is currently studying under Dr. Jason Kwak, professor of piano, at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. At Texas State, Miles has performed in numerous recitals, accompanied other instrumentalists, and teaches with the FunKey Piano Project. He’s currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in piano performance and hopes to teach full-time after graduation. He’s familiar with classical repertoire from the Baroque period to the Modern period, and most enjoys playing pieces by the composers Claude Debussy and Frederic Chopin. When not at the piano, he enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
