Zack Kibodeaux (BM Vocal Performance) - is from Freeport, TX. He studied voice for three years with David Hill, and studied piano with Katie Hunt. He graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2006, where he made the All-State Choir three years in a row. In 2010 he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. While at Texas State, he studied voice for nine semesters with Mrs. Juli Wood, also studying piano, guitar, and music theory. He was a member of Texas State Chorale for three years and the Texas State Opera program for four. His work with Texas State Opera consists of several lead roles including Albert Herring, in a scene from Briton’s Albert Herring, Larry/Matt in A Face on The Barroom Floor, Candide in Bernstein’s Candide, and other roles in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Strauss’s Die Fledermaus and Romberg’s The Student Prince. Along with performing at church, weddings, and other venues, he has experience teaching guitar, voice, and piano and is also a working singer/songwriter.
