Raquel Gomez holds a Master's degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from Texas State University, San Marcos. Raquel began playing the violin in the 1st grade and music has been a big part of her life ever since. She is currently studying violin with Dr. Lynn Ledbetter and has previously studied with Pedro Fundora, professor at The Conservatory of Music and Dance of Monterrey where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance. While at Texas State, Raquel has performed with the TXST Symphony orchestra as Concertmaster and The Graduate String Quartet. In addition, Raquel has taught violin lessons and master classes at all levels and students ranging from all ages. Raquel is excited to be a teacher at Curious Chords and is dedicated to helping her students find a love and appreciation for music!
