Jenny Sandoval (BA English/Music) - is a certified teacher in Texas holding Certification in All-Level Music, Secondary English/Language Arts, and General Elementary Education K-4. Jenny also holds her Kodaly Level I Certification. Jenny spent 6 years in the public school classroom where she taught Choir/General Music at Goodnight Junior High in San Marcos, Texas and at both Tobias and Hemphill Elementary Schools in Kyle, Texas. Jenny has also taught music privately for the last 15 years teaching voice, piano, clarinet, guitar, bass guitar, and composition. In the past, you could find Jenny teaching in her own private studio, as well as Calusio School of Music and Plum Creek Music Center. Jenny also was music minister at Kyle United Methodist Church where she has served from 2003-2010. Jenny opened Curious Chords Music Studio as a home-based music studio. In 2009, she expanded the studio to include more teachers and handed administration to Kathy Brown, owner of Curious Chords Music Studio at Plum Creek. She has a passion for music. She is not only an experienced private and choral teacher, but also an avid singer/songwriter and has recorded two CDs. Last year Jenny returned to Kyle United Methodist Church as their minister of music. When Jenny is not at church doing music ministry activities, or in private lessons, you can find her playing with her beautiful triplet girls, making pumpkin pie for her son, playing dolls with her eldest daughter or having coffee with her best friend, her mom.
