Jennifer Conte, soprano, known for her bright, warm timbre and expressive musical precision, is currently attending Texas State University at San Marcos. She is pursuing a Master of Music in Performance, and is under the outstanding tutelage of renowned soprano, Cheryl Parrish.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi, where she studied with up and coming soprano Dr. HsinYi Lin, Dr. Ross Bernhardt, and Flicka Rahn. There she performed the roles of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gianetta in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers, and Gasparina in La Cantarina. Jennifer also had the privilege of performing in the chorus of Sparkling City Light Opera. With the Texas State Opera Theatre, she premiered the role of La Virgen de Guadalupe in Henry Mullicone's Children of the Sun in 2013.
Jennifer recently performed the role of Fiametta in the Gilbert and Sullivan Austin's 2016 production of The Gondoliers.
